Grab a copy of my first published book on Amazon!

Zits and zombies, I am ecstatic! I recently just self-published my first book on Amazon titled Personal Shrapnel! If you're into The X-Files, bigfoot, abominable snowmen, drug addicts, jealousy, betrayal and angst-it's all right here in these three short stories for you to lap up with your rancid, acid tongues! This trilogy has a dark edge to it, and it's ready for you to start cutting yourself on the pages and sweat profusely in between the words!

I'm proud that I was able to find the time to finish these shorts that I started over a decade ago and mark a bucket list item off-which was all together to have a book of any kind published at all. There is a paperback version and a Kindle version available so whether you're a physical snob or a slave to digital convenience, the choice is yours. For me to make.

Buy a copy.

Here's the description on Amazon:

A trilogy of short stories where a layer of decade-old dust has been knocked off to bring them to life. After sitting on a hard drive for that long, these points of contention have been resurrected by their creator to finally walk the earth. Or for you to read them. Which ever comes first. And, no-none of these are horror. Just to let you know.

Tommy's Winter: Twelve year old Tommy Sharp has always felt distant and disconnected to his father. One afternoon during the brutal winter storm that has been raging since before Thanksgiving, Tommy's father comes home from work early telling him that it's finally time to go with him to his place of employment. He ends up growing closer to his father and himself as a result. Go read an issue of Famous Monsters while you're at it.

Cab Notes: Scott Alberts is at the end of his rope in every aspect of his life. His girlfriend hates him, his apartment is trash and he's on a hopeless downward spiral that reaches towards plenty of dark places. This is the written recordings of this young man's last hours for you to read. And he does somehow scrawl these things down in real time.

Heavy Damage: More of an exhibition than anything, Heavy Damage is the very first short story I ever wrote back a decade ago. Casey Tripper is best friends with the man telling this story, who feels he has become betrayed by him and ruins his own life because of it in a nasty, grisly and shocking way. This is the weakest of the three, but I had to start somewhere.
